The urban settlement of Lismore is located in one of the prettiest settings in Ireland and is charmingly decorated with its imposing castle and a fine collection of other 18th and 19th century buildings.

Lismore won the small towns section for the 2nd time in the 2010 Tidy Towns of Ireland Competition. The charm of the people and the countryside remain unspoiled.
