Cycling is a great way to get to work and no matter what happens it will be always be a preferred way to cycle for many. But not everyone can cycle nor have the want to cycle to work. I know we are a bit biased here at this after all a cycling blog but we area also realistic. A big reason why a lot of people especially females do not cycle to work is because they don’t want to arrive into the office all sweaty. This is a legit concern and there is no real way around it. This is why generally you will see more guys cycling into the office. Obviously guys sweat too but we don’t have make up that can run off and we generally have shorter hair so that is also not a concern.
In any case there are alternatives starting to present themselves due to modern technology and one of those alternatives is the electric hoverboards. These hoverboards will allow you to commute approx 20kms on a full charge of battery meaning that if you live within a reasonable distance to work that you can commute there and back with little effort and also save money on public transport fares.
There are now many of these hoverboards for sale starting to pop up all around the world. Here in Ireland we have the bike to work scheme which means that you can get a grant from the government to buy a brand new bike. This is done in an effort to get people to cycle to work rather than use their cars or take public transport. As of yet there is no scheme for these hoverboards but there has been talk of something similar as it too would lighten the load on the roads.
We think these are a great option for commuting to work and you can still go out for your leisurely cycle at the weekends on the bike. At least this is an alternative for people who don’t want to arrive into work covered in sweat!
